Warehouse Lighting Assessment & Electrical Troubleshooting

Store LED Lighting Upgrade & Fixture Replacement

This project began as an LED retrofit of existing fluorescent light fixtures to improve energy efficiency and overall lighting performance. However, during installation, multiple inconsistencies were identified across the existing fixtures that prevented a reliable retrofit solution.

Several units showed signs of wear and damage, including deteriorated lampholders, burnt tombstones, inconsistent internal wiring, and poor performance when tested with LED retrofits. These conditions resulted in flickering and uneven light output, making the original retrofit approach unsuitable.

After reviewing these findings on site with property management, the scope was revised and approved to proceed with a full fixture replacement. This ensured a consistent, safe, and long-term lighting solution across the space.

The result is a modern, energy-efficient lighting system that delivers uniform illumination, improved reliability, and better overall performance.
